You need to consider the motors TCR/TCR2 in case:
1. A larger starting torque is required which could not be obtained from normal squirrel cage motor
2. The power capacity of the feeder line is insufficient to start a squirrel-cage motor
3. Applications where loner starting time and frequent starting are needed
4. Capabilities to adjust the speed of motor within a certain range
5. Synchronous driving is needed from an (electric axis), such as Compressor, Windlass, drawing
machines and conveying belts
